At the heart of my mandate lies a commitment to fostering inclusivity and diversity within the realm of cinema. I recognize the profound importance of amplifying under-represented voices, particularly those of women, women-identifying individuals, and non-binary filmmakers. cELLEuloid endeavours to curate a regular exhibition series of films at independent theatres and galleries, providing a platform for these marginalised voices to be heard and celebrated.
The mission is twofold: to support and elevate under-represented voices in cinema and to cultivate a more inclusive film culture. Through the exhibition series, we seek to challenge traditional narratives, dismantle systemic barriers, and promote a more equitable landscape within the film industry.
