Stardust Museum
When we met in 2014, we quickly discovered we had both been collecting beautiful bits of nature’s this and that - for years. We also unearthed a shared loss that we needed to explore.
We talked about the link between these ‘museum’ pieces and our ponderance of the universe. While birth and death are experienced as beginnings and endings,
we shift our lens by embracing them as transitions. Hafiz says,
All the hemispheres in heaven
Are sitting around a fire Chatting
While stitching themselves together
Into the Great Circle inside of You.
These transition points of birth and death, the place between (the event horizon)
are often shocking, but when embraced as transitions,
reveal intense beauty, diversity, entropy and complexity.
Our museum is a snapshot of the clues,
our evidence of the endurance of everything we care about.
We revel in our stardust museum, our proof of love.
