Dempster highway residency 2026
In anticipation of the longest days of the year, a bunch of mobius members made their way to Tombstone Mountain Campground on the Dempster Highway.
Joc made two small but satisfying paintings.
John brought his camera and made some pictures with Joc up at the Blackstone River.
Wicked cool.
Kate showed up from Toronto with her needlepoint. Old Timey.
Basia brought heavy paper and inks. Five gorgeous paperworks.
The week was a little rainy and a little sunny.
It included old and new friends, wild hiking, a tow truck, evasive internet, a curious bear and
eating of perfect pasta and charred corn on the cob,
and the drinking of lots of coffee and never enough bubbly drinks.
Barb Hinton: Paper works
Jocylyn McDowell: Acrylic on canvas
John Steins: Digital photography
Katharine Harvey: Needlepoint
Kirsten Madsen: Fiction forming
Guin Lalena: Sheer perfection
