Stardust Museum
When Joc and Barb came together in 2014, they quickly discovered they had been collecting beautiful bits of nature’s this and that, for years. They also unearthed a shared loss that they could and should explore together. They talked about the link between these ‘museum’ pieces and their loss... they pondered a reckoning.
While birth and death are experienced as beginnings and endings,
we shift our lens by embracing them as transitions. Hafiz says,
All the hemispheres in heaven
Are sitting around a fire Chatting
While stitching themselves together
Into the Great Circle inside of You.
The transition point of birth and death, the place between (aka. event horizon) is often shocking, but when embraced as transition, reveals intense beauty, diversity and complexity.
Our museum is a collection of the clues,
our evidence of the endurance of everything we care about.
We revel in the stardust, our proof of the Great CIrcle inside of us.
